Hello dear friends,

It's been a while since I wrote a newsletter, let alone a blog post. Forgive me as I navigate this new (ish) way of delivering the news, so to speak.

I've been thinking for a while now that I need to switch gears in how I deliver all my bookish and writerly news. I'm aiming to give this location a fair chance while using my Substack and Instagram as a promotional platform.

If you are a newsletter subscriber, you'll likely be among the first to know everything (unless you're on my street team, then you'll be first, first), as the newsletter is sent directly to your email, and I will coordinate the blog post and newsletter to be released simultaneously. All other posts will go out after the scheduled posts.

Coming Up Next Newsletter: Character Reveals for Of Ink and Fire

It's been months since I received some character art, and it's about time I revealed my two MCs to you all. I'm excited and can't wait for you to meet them. (And maybe learn a thing or two about who they are.)

And while I'm at it, I'll toss in some world-building facts too. Is there anything you'd want to know about my portal world?
